ATENRAYS – Into

One of the classic post-grad buzz words is disruptor. It’s thrown around constantly. The best inventors are disruptors – shaking up conventional systems, reforming and improving them for the better. It’s not a bad thing. In fact it’s quite positive.

But the label disruptor sounds aggressive. The status quo gets challenged! Change is occurring! The shallow end of the pool will always feel more comfortable.

With that in mind take a listen to a song by ATENRAYS, Into – a track that goes from placidly calm to depressingly aggressive in a matter of seconds. It is without a doubt disruptive. Maybe too disruptive. But the song’s brazenness is also its greatest strength. It suddenly and swiftly shocks our ear drums out of complacency and pulls us into a new realm of possibility.

Bipolar Sunshine – Daydreamer (Gryffin Remix)

I finished my undergrad career last week, and with some adventures on the calendar in the coming months I’m all about jams that get me stoked to get out there.

I discovered this one last week and it’s been a constant play since then – putting images of the open road, sunshine, mountains, and rivers in my head.

As the beat builds, increase that volume.
