I’ve always wondered if the relationship between an artist and the DJ who remixes their songs is awkward? Intellectual property rights aside, it must be strange to hear something you’ve worked so hard on changed in subtle ways – the tempo sped up or slowed down, throbbing base added in the background, a pop stars voice woven in.
But in the case of Dan Croll and Baardsen, they’re clearly friends. Or at least have put the remixing complex aside to work together on a fantastic dance beat.
