In Christopher McDougall’s book Born To Run, Ken Chlouber, Colorado miner and creator of the Leadville Trail 100 mile race is quoted as saying, “Make friends with pain and you will never be alone.”

I was reminded of this quote the other day when I heard a lyric from Gorgon City’s, Here For You: “We all go through changes. Run to different places.”

Gorgon City city performed in a geo-dome at Outside Lands a couple weeks ago. I missed it because I was waiting in line for a ramen cheese burger. So clearly the wrong choice.
