Chayed Out

Robin Schulz – Same

A song and a setting: Spring, 2013. Classes have ended but the warm weather persists. D-manFrancois, and I escape the college campus to explore the surrounding territory – a slow culture and peaceful landscape that goes all too forgotten in the constant noise of the college student. Flat cornfields, barns and the occasional horse and carriage adorn the walls outside our car. The open windows our best access to the world outside, I put my hand out to feel the wind push against my arm, hand and fingers.

The aimless cruise. Robin Schulz’s “Same” is, from inside the confines of a Subaru’s doors, the perfect driving song.
